We offer a great range of facilities, whether you’re a walker, dog walker, cyclist, car ormotorbike enthusiast (modern or classic) or just want somewhere to come for coffee, cake, great food and a catch up, Gilks’ is the place to go.
LARGE BIKE RACK
Park your bikes, triathlon style on our bespoke bike rack. No need to stack your bikes up against each other on the shop window! There are even bicycle security chains available to use free of charge.
CAR CHARGE POINT
Need to refuel? Need to recharge those batteries?
Whilst you refuel on coffee and cake, treat your car to a recharge using our fast charge 7kW Pod Point car charging post.
CLASSIC CARS
Give your classic a runout. Park in our off-street car park and enjoy a coffee and maybe a bite to eat in the showroom where classic Hillman cars were sold in the garage’s heyday.
LOCAL BIKE RIDES
Whether, off or on road, Gilks’ Garage Café is the ideal spot for starting and finishing rides, or simply just for a coffee stop when you are ‘on yer bike’.
LOCAL DOG WALKS
Discover great dog walks leading directly from the café, in the knowledge that there will be fresh water and complimentarily dog biscuits for our four-legged friends.
CAR PARK
No need to fight to find a car parking space. Plenty of parking on the forecourt and at the rear of the café. Pull up off the road and take a seat inside.
BIKER FRIENDLY
To quote Henry Cole from The Motorbike Show; “Gilks’ is also a bijou biker friendly café”. We are an ideal pit stop for your bike ride. Whether to get warm or cool down.
